In the dark night, there was not a star in the sky and the moon was covered by clouds that drifted across the sky. The wind blew, making the trees on the montain russle and leaves scuttled along, also making a scratchy sound. Fang walked silently, his sword was sheathed in its cover and his eyes looked around, he wasn't getting attacked by the person he had seen in the forest. He couldn't return to hunting monsters for where he use to work, he would have to stay here and lay low. He was still a little sore from his injures he had gotten when they dumped him in the forest and from battling that stupid demon. The pain and sorrow he caused when he had to do his job was unberable to some, but he had to kill monsters, it was his job.
He use to be a kid who liked to play and just run around, in the house even, now some say he was monster. Not the kind with fangs or claws or any of that stuff, a monster that killed to live, he wasn't a demon, just a monster at mind. Having to endure so many harsh words when he was assigned to kill a monster who lost control. He saw the tears on the job when he killed the tears of men, women and children of when someone close to them was killed, some thought of him as a murderer, it wasn't true, he had to. Now he was being hunted by someone who wished to see him dead, someone who hated his guts, but no one knew where the building was, monster hunters had a secret transport that got them there and to towns.
Fang had to travel a lot because of what he did now, before they thought he was just some weak kid until he proved them wrong. Fang was looking at the ground when he was walking, thinking of the misery he had to cause. I have maybe killed a lot a monsters now, without gaining a single scar that marks my body. I do this only becuse of the damn demon that cut my arm, they named me this because of the deep two fang marks that mark my right arm. Fang thought as he continued on his way up the moutain. He looked up, only seeing darkness and trees, he went into the trees and looked out at the town that he was now in, a town he had never been to. "I am stranded." Fang whispered as he leaned agianst the tree.
He crossed his arms and looked at the city, then moved, hoping no one saw him he at in a tree, far from the face of the mountain where many could gaze over the city. He had no idea where to go or what to do, he had met Kitty, to him though, she wasn't much help, to him she was strange. Fang remembers why she thought he didn't like her, but the real reason was, what was the point of making friends if the next day he could end up dead. He had to travel so much he didn't bother, even as a small boy he was silent and didn't talk while some of the other kids were in there groups talking he stood there, not talking to a single soul. He often practice, which meant he never focused on making friends.

Looking further down the mountain, a strange sight took place. White hair, stunning ice eyes, a lean figure in a dark jacket, it looked suspicious. But take a look closer, it's just Jack Frost nipping at you nose. He gave a laugh, it was just too good. He tapped the ice sculpture, it's frost entangled hair taking the figure of an ice skater. Frozen in the middle of a jumping spin, or something like that. The boy took a step back, putting his hands on his hips to marvel at his creativity. It was truly a wonderful piece. He looked back up the mountain, finding it's height altitude and loss of oxygen quite soothing, if that made sense. He had to breath slowly if he wished to stay conscious, as he did. He looked out forward where all he could see was the skyline and the skyscrapers. He took another deep breath, shoving his pale hands into his jean pockets. The air was chilly, as it should be. The world was a small place, meeting all these people. Just the other day he met the oddest girl, pink hair and grey eyes, she had been a wonderful form of company in these odd times. He sensed his staff was going out of whack and it did a number on him, causing him to blackout, to act without thinking of his own morals, striking out, it was the oddest thing he'd ever experienced. He had to apologize yesterday for scaring an elderly woman. He had scared the birds she had been feeding and had threw the bag of feed across the street, spilling it's contents. He figured he was endangering the people in his current sate. Unpredictable. The night bird's song suddenly lowered to a small hush, the trees and grasses whispering lies and sins. A small smile crept onto his smile, his hand folded in and he began to walk up the mountain. Trees changed to heather and heather to sand and clay, then back to pine. He took a seat down, holding his wooden weapon with a fierce control, he waved it above the small bits of lichen and moss, frost and ice beginning to glaze over it's surface. Jack pulled his knees up to him, his breathing silent and steady.

Fang noticed someone had sat down under the tree he was in and he didn't like it, he wanted to get rid of him, but knew, it was stupid to do a straight up attack. Maybe this was the person who wanted to kill him, no, white hair would be too easy to notice under that hood. It was simple, just a boy who came up here for some reason he didn't know. Then an owl came up beside him, he noticed, thinking it was night anyways. Then it hooted in his ears, Fang grunted mad, now thinking. Now he may know I am here, but this bird is annoying. Fang tried to grab the owl, but it began to fly and then he threw his sword at it.
The owl fell from the sky and Fang leaped from the tree and ran, grabbing the sword and swinging the owl to the ground, jumping into a tree and hiding once again. He sheathed his sword and listened, as if to be waiting for the boy to come, fang looked at the owl's body and it was a smaller creature, a shape shifter perhaps. He still didn't care that he had killed the stupid ting, he didn't care if he seemed short tempered, besides it was a matter of time until the boy noticed he was in the tree, so really hiding back in another tree was better then staying there and getting found out.

He froze as the rustle of leaves came from overhead, maybe he was just being oaranoid, but it seemed like he was being watched. Slowly he turned his head, his knuckles turning white as he gripped his staff. If need be, he'd freeze the asshole who thought he could mess up like this. Killing the creator if winter would prove a hard tasknonce he knocked the man over the side of the head. Slowly he retreated into an attack stance. He was no idiot when it came to a fight, but he was also smart enough to know not to assume anything. The gentle coo of an owl confirmed his paranoia. He gave himself a hard facepalm. Really man, mistaking an assassin for an owl was pretty stupid. He slugged his shoulders, he was surprised to find he was disappointed. The days recently had seemed to drag as he had not seen a living soul over the course of 24 hours. You could get pretty lonely. But then, the strangest thing happened, as if by some force, the bird flew out of the tree. It had impailed itself too, with a small sword of some kind. Grabbing up his stick, he slinked forward. A boy got there first, scooping up his weapon and fleeing into a nearby tree. Okay. Weird. Jack forced himself to relax, alright then, so he had been right. But what was he o do now? Call him out? Attack? No, that would be suicidal. "You know, if you were hungry, you could've just said so." He joked, his tone more confident than he actually was. He wasn't afraid as much as he was cautious and curious. I mean, being stalked wasn't exactly a normal thing.

Fang didn't move, he didn't like to talk to people, it was something that pestered him really. Damn, he followed me, but how dum is he? In one move his head could be gone, but I am not doing so. Fang thought. Fang wasn't coming out unless he needed to, he was staying in place, in the tree. Fang watched the boy, why so interested in him, why not scared or not bothering him. He stayed still, his arms were cross and he almost wanted to mummble, but knew he had to stay quiet. If the boy was attack, he would have to, under the code he had takened, even though how much he didn't he would have to help, but that was only if it was a monster at least.

Silence. Well, that made it a whole lot more complicated. If the guy was going to go undercover, he sure doing a damn bad job at it. He looked up at the tree where face of a younger boy stared. He looked like he had his mind set. On killing him probably. It brought goosebumps to his arms, he wouldn't die. Killing him wasn't easy. Still, he wouldn't risk it. "So, why you up here?" He asked with an innocent smile and a tilt of the head. Just playing the part. The lone kid, 19 and alone. It had never bothered hin and it seemd it had not detered this guy either. They were alike gelieve it or not. Except for being a stalker. Another shiver. His light blue eyes tilted up, he held his hands behind his back, the prod of the staff showing on either side of him. Slowly and discretely, he created a cell. As if by magic, he froze the guy's feet to the tree. And it wasn't no frostbite, it was sheer cold ice, nearly unbreakable.

Fang didn't ike this at all he was mad and his sword frozen, he had no way of getting out and suddenly he had a feeling he knew what was coming. He stayed silently and soon the person in the black cloat and he saw him behind the boy. "Now my job is easier." He laughed. "Now I can kill you Fang and you can't do a thing about it." He crackled as he came closer. Fang just watched him, his name now revealed and he had a feeling he knew who it was and he knew that he was fast. He moved swiftly and he was already by the tree and a knife was thrown, but Fang grabbed it, he grabbed the blade and blood came from his hands.
"You think it would be that easy even if I was stuck." Fang muttered under his breath. He now held the handle in his other hand, his left bleeding from the sharp blade that had drawn blood from it.

(Quite alright. I understand)
Jack slipped away unnoticed by the sudden appearance of a much older man than even he. Well, in some sense anyways. It also seemed "fang' as the man had revealed, was being hunted. Wel then, he felt like a jackass now for freezing the guy. Smooth Jack, real smooth. And yet, he didn't feel sorry for Fang, maybe it was his lone wolf showing, or maybe it was just his true side showing. Jack didn't tolerate death though. Unfreezing Fang with a quick motion, he transferred it too the enemy, freezing him to the spot. Jack was on a whim now and he guessed that the killer was human, if not, it was a slim chance that he still wouldn't break free. Generosity was a B**** sometimes. Silent as a breeze, he swept up a flurry of ice shards around the eveil man. Creating a small prison of icy blocks, on the inside it would be deathly cold. The air on the outside by itself was a temperature chilling enough to freeze anybody. The white boy stepped out, yielding his stick with a dainty grace, he looked Fang in they eyes with an even stare, "I'd advise a decision soon. If he's anything like I've seen, you've got thirty seconds to make a decision." He said with a serious tone. It seemed funny had left the building, now was a time of flight or fight. "I'm Jack by the way." He said letting a sly smirk slip by.

As soon as he free, Fang sprung out of the tree, he was on the ground his sword in hand. Soon he had his sword by the person who was trying to kill him, his hand still bleed. Fang didn't say anything as his sword sliced through theneck, he couldn't risk this person after him. The head feel to the ground and he knew it was someone from the organization, perhaps the whole organization was trying to kill him. Crap, there might be more for all I know there after me and now I can't trust anyone, well that doesn't matter I don't anyways. Fang thought. "Thanks." Fang said, being nice at least, but he was walking off, he whipped the blood of his sword and sheathed it into the small case.

Great, blood splashed his hands as the head rolled across the lawn, wonderful, simply amazing. Jack reached up with a vlean hand to feel his hair, yes, there was blood there too. Poo. With a sad shake of the head, he carried on behind the perpetrator at a liesurely pace. After a careful examination of the man as he faced his demise, ye hadncome to the conclusion that they were in an organization. Both of them. Whether they were apart or together, he had no clue. He would just have to inprovise then. And even then, now that he had helped Fang, woukd they see him as a threat as well? He let out an exasperated and tired sigh, life was taking it's toll for sure. Still following the shady guy he decided to speak up. "May I ask of you a question? Seeing as I've witnessed a murder of a murderer and was in fact an accomplice, it's only natural. But back to my question, who are you? If you do in fact, explain yourself, I too will do the same." He declared still following.

"Didn't you hear him, my name is Fang, he already said it. I don't talk about myself because I will probably be gone at some point." Fang grumbled, he didn't like questions like that, he hated telling people about himself, if his enemies were watching it wouldn't end well and he could be dead by tommorrow. He was soon at a small pond and he washed his hand, whipping his hand around to dry it. He then went to a tree and laid down to rest, he hadn't been able to after trying to figure out where he was. He figured the kid wouoldn't leave him alone, so there was no point in walking still. He crossed his arm and laid there, his eyes looked at the small pond.

He scowled, "I mean, where'd you come from. I can figure out your name thanks." He said as they came to a sad little pond. He waved his hand, covering it in a thin sheet of ice. He was only practicing, it wasn't like he was a master at what he did. Jack reached into his pocket to a reciev a permanently frozen dagger completely made of ice. He flashed Fang as sly grin and took out another one. "Care to practice? They don't lose their tip and stay sharpened." He said, spinning one on his finger tip. Jack was a prepper, a real paranoid kind of individual that was always prepared. Suddenly he threw it, the lethal blade piercing a small sapling, splitting the poor thing in two. "Gotta stay sharp." He said with a dark chuckle.

"And why do you care about that? I am not the kind of person who talk all day." Fang grumbled, he didn't really know anyways so it didn't matter. "Listen even though you helped me doesn't mean were friends, I am not the kind of person trying to make friends at every turn." Fang explained as he stayed put. He kept his hand in a fist as slowly blood still came from the wound, it burned and stung, bit he had been hurt worst anyways. He didn't like talking still and he wanted to be alone and rest. He still looked out at the pond, seeing a fish leap from it as it caught a fly.

Jack gave a scoffed, "Friends and allies are two totally different tyings. And if your smart, you'll make some." He said with a serious and pointed voice. "And it matters because I helped you, I'm pretty sure they won't take kindly to me either." He added. These were harsh times, he sensed a tension in the air, a sign of trouble and a storm. It smoked the entire place with a heavy fog of intense emotion. And then again, there were those choice few who stayed oblivious to the change. They were the walking dead, a smart man knew these things. The absence of animals made it that much more spooky. Things were harsh, you were an idiot not to notice. The air warmed slightly, they were farther West. The moon was seting as twilight drew closer. It was only a matter of time before they were left in a dark world.

Fang actually wanted to laugh, but he knew he hadn't seen him fight not stuck to the a tree. "Did you really say that?" Fang said. "Why do you think they want to kill me? I am one of the strongest of them all, you only had a chance cause you froze me to a tree." Fang snapped as he got off to leave, even if this kid helped him, he hated what he had said. He was injured even more then he thought and now his hand was bleeding and he figured it was leaving a trail. he didn't care, he could survive longer and he knew how to stick out, he was completely human and he had skills, he didn't need some person with powers to help him, he was fine on his own.
