The man sighed, running his fingers through his blond hair. Despite the disturbance, his hair remained slicked back, a usual style for him. He loosened the collar of his uniform, relishing in the wind that swept past the skin of his neck. Uniforms were always so stuffy, but he had to put up with it. He glanced down at the black-and-tan canine trotting by his side, unleashed. Why leash something that didn't need one? Ol' Blitzkrieg would never leave his side unless ordered.
Blue met brown as the Doberman looked up, meeting his gaze. A sigh passed through the both of them as they looked back up to the path ahead. There weren't many people out, but that was to be expected. He had the night shift, so it was about five in the morning when he left. The sun hasn't even began to rise, so he could only assume it was still before six. He had about another half hour before he arrived at his house. Hm, at least he had the silence and Blitz to keep him company.

Jynx was out in the town for once. She was on edge. She didn't want to hurt anybody so that was why she was out here at night. When she saw humans of any kind she freaked out and got all jumbled and wasn't herself. Meaning that she started getting meaner and meaner. Jynx planned on getting seeds tonight. She was going to start a farm so that she could live in the catacombs longer. She was walking through the streets, actually, running through the streets. She was looking around frantically. She just wanted to steal some seeds then leave. Nobody would have to know.
Jynx had her hood up and knew exactly where she was going. Her head was down so that she wouldn't see anybody. She was just going to get the seeds and leave. Suddenly there was a dog in front of her line of sight accompanied by a pair of shoes. Jynx had only seen dogs in pictures so seeing one in real life was scary for her. She screamed and fell backwards. Her hood fell away from her face and she looked up at the guy. Time to run. She scrambled up and sprinted in the opposite direction.
