After what seems like an eternity of ringing and beeps. You finally hear a click sounding that someone has picked up. But, as fate would have it and much to your disliking, a voice-mail picks up. It's an odd sound, almost like your underwater. You can hear the faintest traces of music playing in the background and cars running across the street. Perhaps she's in the town? You push the phone closer to your ear so you can make out the words the voicemail speaks.
"Sorry!" "Um, yes, hello caller. I'm a bit busy at the moment. Try again later? If it is urgent wait five minutes and call me."
She sounded rushed. You hear the blare of a car horn and soon after hear curses. The sounds cut off as it goes to the droning of beeps telling you, you've done your job. What a waste....
